Brief Overview:
In this unit, we went over the relationship between unbalanced forces and acceleration. Newton's first law of inertia, 2nd, and 3rd law were covered. The force of friction and the properties that influence it (roughness of surface and mass) were a large section as well. A large portion of time was spent solving problems involving different directions of forces and solving for the net force in both the y and x directions. This included briefly touching upon solving problems involving forces at angles and spring forces.
